time goes by so quickly...
working, working, working, spending as much time with coco as possible, enjoying early summer and reading about weaving.

ballon ballon

coco loves 'ballons'. she runs around talking about 'ballons' all day, and when she sees anything round -streetlights during an early-morning walk to daycare, tomatoes at the market, lemons from our fridge - she points and yells 'ballon' with a big smile.

i put up this paper installation in her room so she could always have 'ballons' around her, and although i'm no expert and there are tons of  imperfections, she totally loves it and can't stop looking at it. it was pretty fun to put together too. i guess when you're a mom, making huge paper balls while drinking wine on a friday night becomes your idea of pretty fun.

habitat 67

it was warm and sunny on sunday, so we went on an adventure and stopped to walk around habitat 67. i've looked at it from across the water so many times, but this was my first time near it. really fun and inspirational.

phew, i've been away from here for quite a while! the past weeks have been a blur with finishing orders, holidays, visiting family and friends, having lazy cozy days with my little family, spending time with coco. i'll be back to posting more regularly in a little bit. happy new year!

come visit us!

for the holidays...

here's a little peak at the holiday party clutches i'll have available at smart design mart and souk@sat.  these are completely made from vintage textiles and i love them! the larger, foldable clutch is in black covered in golden sparkles ($30), and the smaller clutches are made with a shimery antique satin in buttery gold and rose-copper ($25 each).

these will be exclusively available at both design shows here in montréal, but if you'd really like one, just drop me a message here and i can send you one!

did i ever mention that along with working on hazel & hunter, i also teach kids a few times a week? i work at a great fine arts core school where kids study art, music, theater, etc, so i have a soft spot for these great photos
from kids case
they're kind of the best thing i've seen on the internet all week.
