i'm back!

i'm back home after a week spent at a cottage. it was great to get out of the city and be surrounded by nature, but it's good to be home.
this week will be crazy getting ready for puces pop next weekend but i'll be posting with updates soon! xx

the makers

when i'm feeling particularly stressed or low on inspiration, i love looking through images of people making and creating things with their own hands - there's just something beautiful about it.

the makers is a project by jennifer causey where she documents artists, designers, printers, artisans, jewelers, ceramists in their studios in brooklyn. the artists featured are some of my favorites, and it's great to sneak a peek inside their creative spaces. above are some of my favorite photos from the project. you should seriously go check it out.

her latest spring/summer 2011 collection is just amazing! i've seriously been thinking about that black-and-white compass tank since i saw it - perfection!
