...this beautiful space.

sunken treasures

(photos from lauren wolf jewelry)

i met the lovely miss lauren wolf while studying jewelry design in mexico, and was in awe of how wonderfully talented she is. most of her pieces are influenced by the sea, sunken treasures and nature and would be the perfect accessories to the simple outifts i'm packing in my suitcase to travel. now if only i could afford them...

(photos from here)

i'm heading to italy at the end of the week for a few weeks of traveling - and i'm actually looking forward to the scorching hot weather after the crappy summer so far here in montreal.

wake up

(photos from Just Scandinavia)

i'm very sleepy this morning and it looks like it's going to be a cloudy day... these gorgeous Josef Frank textiles might help me wake up a bit! nothing like early morning eye candy.

teal + red

i love this color combination when it's done right.

i'm working on a collection of pillow designs entitled 'neighborhoods,' inspired by some of the places i've visited. my next two pieces stem from my memories of living and traveling in mexico, and here are a few images stiring around my mind.

i purchased one of Toronto-based artist ZukZuk's prints a while back for my studio and it's one of my favorites. i love her designs and bright colors! now i just have to decide which one i want next...
