it's very cold here in montréal today...
a perfect day to hide inside to finish up some orders,
hang out with little coco and daydream about spring.

have a cozy monday!

petits nuages

i spent a bit of time on sunday sewing up little clouds and mountains.
these small items for little ones will be available soon...

we brought little coco to new york for the first time, and although she's only about 6 months, i think she liked it. have a fun weekend, everyone!

two lovely things found on etsy this week:
triangles from sewing machine and this swedish textile from ethanollie.
(the ladies from sewing machine are using their sales to fund grad school,
so check out their shop!)

i've become obsessed with the daily hues site - such a rad and unique idea.
(found via seesaw)

yesterday my friend was visiting from vancouver and it was so nice to spend the day together. we hung out with baby coco and grabbed lunch at one of my favorite places to eat in my neighborhood, le pick up dépanneur- it's a tiny, cozy dépanneur (a "corner store") that also serves awesome breakfasts and lunches. although it was freezing here in montréal, the sun was shining and it was a nice day to catch up with an old friend.

after a long night with little miss coco, who decided to wake up every 1.5 hours last night (!!!), i'm remembering what inspired the above design. she was just a newborn when i was finalizing the last collection, and after spending day after day telling myself that 'everything will be okay', i knew i had to include my mantra in a design somehow. the stripes and text were drawn by hand and then screen-printed onto the fabric. now i keep one of these in coco's room for long nights that stretch into blurry days like today...

deep breath. everything will be okay.

i love this set of
'automne' prints by artist aliette in paris.
check out her etsy shop for a bunch of pretty things.

photos from the design for kids event in brussels...

it's full of beautiful photos and great ideas...
